Like you, I was very sad that it&#39;s over but very glad that I went. I think you were on the Dec 11 Orlova and I was on the Dec 11 Ocean Nova. In the morning on Dec 11, I met two girls from HK who were going on Orlova as well.<br /><br />We actually almost signed up for Orlova.<br /><br />Ah, one more thing we brought but didn&#39;t use--hand warmers. I also brought a tripod, but only used it for taking a video recording of my polar plunge. I agree with all your points. I wished I had a dry bag for my DSLR. I brought my tripod but never used it (too lazy to set up the tripod on uneven snow).
